Arriving early allowed us to take a serene walk through the expansive landscaped gardens, where mist still hung over the tranquil ponds and grand shaded avenues.​The highlight of our short visit was standing before the Franzensburg, the romantic medieval-style water castle nestled on an island within the park’s main lake.
